The climb, beat by beat

GalleryGallery · , updated 2026-09-12

What the set shows

One still per beat of the climb, in scroll order: the entry gate (the first version’s “Tap to explore” over the dawn-grass plate), the Trailhead, the First Ember, Footholds, the Spark Wakes, and the Summit. The six pills of the Footholds beat read Web Development, Interactive 3D, Linux and Systems, Python and SQL, Creative Technology, and Future Cybersecurity Path. The first five were captured on 2026-09-09 from the live first version during the audit that measured its cold load (see The 16 MB front door); the sixth was captured on 2026-09-12 from the climb as it now runs inside this site.

Why the summit comes from the port

The first version’s summit still shows a far mountain vista whose origin has not yet been recorded in the media inventory, so that frame stays unpublished until it is. The ported climb draws its distant ridges procedurally, so its summit frame carries only assets with a provenance record.

What is in frame

The Wanderer and the Phoenix began as Tripo generations and were finished in Blender by the author; the grass, fog, embers, and summit clouds are Higgsfield atmosphere plates generated from the author’s prompts (the V1 case study states both). Each still is the author’s own screenshot at 1440 by 900, served through the image pipeline at the size your screen needs.
